Chocolate Banana Cake

1 1/2 cups All purpose flour/Maida

1/4 cup Cocoa powder

1 tsp Baking soda

1/2 tsp Salt

1 Egg

1/2 cup Thick fresh cream

1 1/4 cup Sugar

1 tsp Vanilla essence

1/2 cup Over ripe bananas (mashed)

3/4 tbsp Vinegar

1/2 cup Water


1Pre heat the oven at 150 degrees C.

2Grease and dust a 8” pan or a loaf tin.

3Sift flour, baking soda , cocoa powder and salt. Keep it aside.

4In another bowl, mix fresh cream, gently beaten egg, sugar and mashed banana.

5Gently fold in sifted flour mixture, water and vinegar using a spatula. Add vanilla essence. Do not stir the batter.

6Transfer it to the prepared tin and bake at 150 degrees C for 40 minutes or until done.
