Coffee Walnut Cake

125 g All purpose flour

1/2 tsp Baking powder

Baking Soda- A pinch

110 g Salted Butter

115 g Granulated Sugar

2 Eggs

1/4 cup Lightly toasted Walnuts (chopped)

2 1/2 tbsp Nescafé powder

1 tbsp Warm water

1/4 cup Milk


2Pre heat the oven at 150 degrees C.

3Sift all the dry ingredients thrice. Grease and dust a 6” aluminium tin.

4Cream butter and sugar.

5Add lightly beaten eggs.

6Fold in the sifted ingredients gently.

7Mix Nescafé powder and warm water.

8Add to the batter. Add milk.

9Transfer to the prepared tin. Bake at 150 degrees C for 35-40 minutes or until done.
