Guava ice cream..

For the custard

1 cup Milk

1/3 cup Granulated sugar

1 tbsp Cornflour

5 tbsp Guava crush

1/2 cup Whipping cream


1In a saucepan ,boil 1 cup of milk and reduce it to 3/4 cup. Add sugar. Turn off the heat . Mix cornflour in 1 tbsp of water and add this to the boiled milk . Heat it for a minute or two . Let it thicken.

2Turn off the heat. Pass this through a metal strainer . Place it into a bowl of ice cold water. Let it cool . Cover it with cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

3Whip the cream until stiff .

4Now add the custard . Keep whipping.Add guava crush . Whip it gently.

6Transfer it to an air tight container , cover it with cling film and freeze it for 6-8 hrs or overnight.
