Directions
1Pre heat the oven at 150 degrees C.
2Sift the dry ingredients thrice.
3Grease and dust a 8” aluminium pan. Line it with parchment sheet.
4Apply butter on the parchment sheet. Next sprinkle 1/3 cup of brown sugar evenly . Place 8-9 slices of pineapple with cherries in the middle.
5In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light. Add gently beaten egg.
6Fold in the flour and buttermilk using a spatula. Adjust the quantity of the liquid if the batter is too thick. Add vanilla essence.
7Transfer the batter to the prepared tin.
8Bake at 150 degrees C for 40-50 minutes or until done.
