Rose Milk Almond Bread with Honey butter Glaze

2 cup All purpose flour/Maida

1/4 cup Semolina

3/4 tsp Instant dry yeast

3 tbsp Rose milk powder

2 tbsp Milk powder

1/4 Chopped Almond

1 tbsp Sugar

1 tsp Salt

1 cup Water

1 tbsp Refined oil


1In a bowl, mix, flour, semolina, yeast, sugar, salt , rose milk powder and milk powder well.

2Add water. Knead for 6-7 minutes. Increase the quantity of the liquid if the dough is too stiff.

3Add oil and knead for another 3-4 minutes.

4Shape it into a ball and place it into a well oiled bowl.

5Let it double in volume.

6Now, punch down the dough gently. Add finely chopped almonds.

7Shape it into buns / bread.

8Let it rise.

9Meanwhile, heat the oven at 180 degree C.

10Place the tin into the oven. Bake for 25 minutes.

11Take the tin out .Apply salted butter/ Egg wash it.

12Place it back to the oven. Bake for 3-4 minutes until the crust is golden brown in colour.

13Remove the bread from the tin. Apply honey butter liberally.

14For honey butter, mix 2 tbsp of honey and 2 tbsp butter. Microwave it for a minute.
