Tutti Frutti Coconut Cake

125 g All purpose flour/ Maida

1/2 tsp Baking powder

1/8 tsp Baking soda

80 g Granulated Sugar

100 g Salted Butter

1 Egg

15 g Desiccated Coconut

2 tbsp Orange juice

8 tbsp Water

40 g Tutti Frutti


3Pre heat the oven at 150 degrees C. Grease and dust a 6” aluminium pan.

4Sift flour, baking powder and baking soda thrice.

5Cream butter and sugar well. Add lightly beaten egg. Cream well.

6Gently fold in the sifted ingredients and water.

7Add orange juice.

8Gently add desiccated coconut and tutti frutti.

9Transfer to the prepared tin.

10Bake at 150 degrees C for 35-40 minutes or until done.
