Chocolate Milo Cookies

1Melt the chocolate in microwave oven. Stir well. Keep it aside.
2Sift flour, Cocoa powder, Baking Soda thrice. Keep it aside.
3Cream butter and sugar well.
4Add the sifted flour mixture and Milo powder to the creamed mixture.
5Now add the melted chocolate and vanilla essence.
6Knead very gently for a minute without applying pressure.
7Add milk if the dough consistency is too stiff.
8Cling wrap the dough and refrigerate for 45 minutes.
9Line a baking tray with parchment sheet.
10Take 1 tbsp of dough, shape it into a ball. Give a gentle press on top. Use a fork to create a design on top.
11Transfer it to the prepared tin.
12Refrigerate it for another 15-20 minutes.
13Meanwhile, Pre heat the oven at 140 degrees C.
14Bake the the cookies at 140 degrees C for 18 -20 mins.
15Remove the tray from the oven.
16Transfer the cookies to a wire rack. Let it cool.
