Chocolate Milo Cookies
Ingredients
- 2 cup All purpose flour/ Maida
- 2 tbsp Corn flour
- 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 3/4 cup Salted butter
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla essence
- 100 g Lindt Dark Chocolate
- 2 tbsp Milk
- 1/3 cup Milo powder
Directions
Melt the chocolate in microwave oven. Stir well. Keep it aside.
Sift flour, Cocoa powder, Baking Soda thrice. Keep it aside.
Cream butter and sugar well.
Add the sifted flour mixture and Milo powder to the creamed mixture.
Now add the melted chocolate and vanilla essence.
Knead very gently for a minute without applying pressure.
Add milk if the dough consistency is too stiff.
Cling wrap the dough and refrigerate for 45 minutes.
Line a baking tray with parchment sheet.
Take 1 tbsp of dough, shape it into a ball. Give a gentle press on top. Use a fork to create a design on top.
Transfer it to the prepared tin.
Refrigerate it for another 15-20 minutes.
Meanwhile, Pre heat the oven at 140 degrees C.
Bake the the cookies at 140 degrees C for 18 -20 mins.
Remove the tray from the oven.
Transfer the cookies to a wire rack. Let it cool.
