Moringa Green Chilli Bread

1 1/2 cups All purpose flour/ Maida

1 1/2 cups Bread flour

1 tsp Instant dry yeast

4 tbsp Moringa leaves powder

4 tbsp Green chilli paste

1 tbsp Garlic paste

1 Egg

3/4 cup Water

1 tbsp Sugar

2 tsp Salt

2 tbsp Refined oil


1Keep the stand mixer bowl ready. Transfer all the ingredients except oil into bowl .

2Knead for 10 minutes. Add 2-3 tbsp of water if the dough is too thick.

3Add oil. Knead for 5-6 minutes.

4Shape the dough into a ball. Cover the bowl with a wet towel. Let the dough double in volume.

5Now, punch down the dough gently. Knead for 3-4 minutes.

6Shape the dough into a loaf.

7Transfer to a well greased loaf tin.

8Let the dough rise till the rim of the tin.

9Meanwhile, Pre heat the oven at 180 degrees C. Place the loaf tin in the oven. Bake for 30 minutes @ 180 degrees C.

10Transfer the loaf to a cooling rack. Apply butter liberally. Let the bread cool well for 3-4 hours.
