Rustic Quiche

For the Crust

3/4 cup All purpose flour

3/4 cup Semolina

1/3 cup Refined oil

7 tbsp Water

1 tsp Salt

For the Filling

1/2 cup Chicken cubes

1/2 cup Mushroom chopped

1/4 cup Tomato chopped

1/4 cup Onion chopped

3 tbsp Garlic chopped

2 tbsp Red Chilli Flakes

1/4 cup Spring Onion chopped

3 tbsp Refined oil

1/2 cup Sour cream

2 Eggs

2 tbsp Bread crumbs

3 tbsp Peri peri sauce

1 cup Cheddar cheese

Salt to taste


For the crust

1Mix apf, semolina and salt well.

2Add oil.

3Add pepper.

4Now add water. Knead gently without applying pressure.

5You can use any tart tin.

7Pre heat the oven at 150 degrees with both top and bottom rods on.

8Bake for 15 minutes.

9Keep it aside.

For the filling

2Heat a heavy bottom pan. Add 2 tbsp oil. Fry the chicken and vegetables.Add garlic. Add salt, red chilli flakes, salt and peri peri sauce.Cook well .Turn off the heat.

3Pre heat the oven at 150 degrees C.

4In a bowl, mix eggs and sour cream.

5Add 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese. Whisk it well.

7Now carefully fill the prepared pie crust with the filling. Add bred crumbs.

9Carefully add the cooked ingredients.

10Place it in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes.
