No Yeast Pizza

For the dough

2 1/4 cup All purpose flour/Maida

2 tsp Baking powder

3/4 tsp Salt

3 tbsp Olive oil / Avocado oil

3/4 cup Water

For the sauce

3/4 cup Onion paste

2 cup Tomato purée

1 tsp Garlic paste

2 tsp Chilli powder

1 tsp Pepper powder

1 tsp Sugar


2 tbsp Tomato ketchup

1 tsp Italian seasoning

4 tbsp Water

3 tbsp Oil

For the topping

1 cup Mushroom sliced

1/2 cup Onion sliced

1/2 cup Spring onion chopped

1 cup Chicken / Sweetcorn

5-6 Cherry tomatoes

1 cup Cheddar cheese

1 cup Mozzarella cheese

1 tbsp Olive oil


For the dough

1In a bowl, mix flour baking powder and salt.

2Add water. Knead for 2-3 minutes.

3Add oil. Knead for a minute or two.

4Shape it into a ball.

5Cover it with cling film. Keep it aside.

6Let us prepare the sauce. Heat a heavy bottom pan. Add oil. Add onion paste and garlic paste.Cook for 2-3 minutes.Now add tomato purée.Keep stirring.Add chilli powder, pepper powder, Italian seasoning, salt and sugar. Now add tomato ketchup and water. Let it thicken.Turn off the heat.Keep it aside.

7Stir fry the rest of the topping separately in another pan, except the cheese.

8Divide the dough into two parts.

9I am using a cast iron pan instead of pizza tin.

10Dust it with semolina. Pre heat the oven at 180 degrees C for 10 minutes.

11Roll out dough using a rolling pin.

12Place it in the oven.Bake for 8-10 minutes.

13Remove it from the oven. Now spread the pizza sauce and the topping evenly. Drizzle 1 tbsp of olive oil on top.

14Bake for 7-8 minutes with top and bottom rods..
